The truck that shows up is a bucket truck first, reaching into the canopy without putting a climber on a rope for every routine cut. When a tree sits too close to a roof or a fence for the bucket to work safely, a crane comes in and lowers the sections down instead. Rigging and climbing gear cover everything in between, working a trunk down piece by piece over a pool, a shed or a neighbor's yard.
